Installation of Forming Wire
1. Inspection of equipment before operation: Carefully check whether the paper machine equipment is in good condition, and the parts in contact with the forming wire must not be uneven, tilted, have sharp burrs, sand particles, etc. The guide wire system must be flexible and must not adhere to grout blocks or entangle with grout.
2. Inspection of the fabric before use: The polyester forming wire should be checked by a dedicated person with the model and specifications of the forming wire before use. If there are no errors, a felt can be laid on a clean and flat operating side ground, and the forming wire should be placed on top of the felt so that the direction of operation of the wire is consistent with that of the paper machine. The forming wire should be opened for quality inspection and recorded carefully. If quality issues are found, please do not use the machine and promptly provide feedback to the polyester mesh manufacturer for handling. During the inspection process, care should be taken not to damage the wire.
3. Put on the paper machine: Place the forming wire in the correct position according to the direction of operation on the paper machine, and ensure that all rollers are parallel to prevent the net from deviating or folding. The specific installation method should be selected by each paper mill according to their own equipment situation. During installation, one person is responsible for organizing and commanding, while the other operators follow the instructions and coordinate the operation. Handle with care, handle with ease, be diligent with hands and eyes, and ensure that the forming wire is not damaged.
4. After finishing installation of the fabric: slightly tighten the wire and lubricate it with water for several cycles. After approaching, pay attention to adjusting the wire tension to the normal level. The tension of the low-speed paper machine should be maintained at 3.0-4.0kg/cm, and the tension of the medium and high-speed paper machines should be maintained at 4.0-6.0kg/cm
5. Swinging high-pressure water spraying device:
a. Spray pipe position: The spray pipe is installed outside the wire near the inner and outer turning rolls, with the nozzle generally facing upwards, which significantly reduces the chance of impurities in the water blocking the nozzle and reduces the chance of increasing single fiber fine fibers due to water flow impacting the friction surface.
b. The spray pipe adopts a reciprocating needle nozzle with a reciprocating stroke of 30cm and a frequency of 5-7 times/min.
c. The distance between the nozzle and the forming wire is 200-400cm to achieve the most effective cleaning effect.
d. Water pressure: The water pressure of medium and low-speed paper machines should be controlled at 10-15kg/cm2 (2.0-2.5Mpa). If the cleaning effect of the wire is not good, the water pressure can be increased appropriately, but not exceeding 40kg/cm2 (4.0Mpa). When the forming wire stops rotating, the high pressure should stop spraying water immediately.
e. Spray angle: When the paper machine speed is less than 400m/min, the nozzle can vertically flush the forming wire, but when the paper machine speed reaches 600m/min, the spray pipe should be rotated towards the direction of the wire to produce a spray angle of less than 90o with the forming wire.
