Structural Design of Triple Layer Forming Fabric

The triple layer forming fabric has a unique structural design consisting of three layers: upper, middle, and lower. The upper layer adopts fine diameter lines and weft lines, combined with plain weave structure, aiming to improve the retention rate of small fibers and fillers, thereby optimizing the uniformity and smoothness of the paper, ensuring that the paper has slight mesh marks and is easy to peel off. The lower layer uses thicker diameter radial and horizontal lines to enhance the stability of the forming fabric and extend its service life. The middle layer cleverly connects the upper and lower layers into a whole through paired parallel lines, effectively preventing relative rubbing and sliding between the upper and lower layers. This three-layer forming fabric not only produces high-quality paper, but also has excellent dehydration ability and longitudinal and transverse stiffness, as well as good operational stability and durability, making it widely used in high-speed paper machines.


Structural Design of 2.5 Layer Forming Fabric

The design of the 2.5 layer forming fabric aims to achieve higher fiber retention while maintaining its superior dewatering properties. By adding additional horizontal braided threads at the top of the double-layer mesh, this design effectively improves the fiber support index. This innovative technology significantly reduces the distance between the top lines, providing strong support for small fibers. This network is suitable for the making of high-end paper and has excellent wear resistance and durability.


Structural Design of Double Layer Forming Fabric

The design of the double-layer forming fabric includes a set of longitudinal fiber bundles and two sets of transverse fiber bundles, which enables small fibers to be effectively retained in the top layer. At the same time, thicker fiber weaving is used at the bottom to further optimize the forming characteristics of the paper, such as leaving no traces and saving operation time. Compared to single-layer forming fabric, this double-layer design performs well in terms of dimensional stability. In addition, the double-layer forming fabric also introduces a new design concept, which is to improve the lifespan of the mesh without affecting the quality of the paper. The improved durability of the bottom material of the mesh often leads to an extension of the overall lifespan of the mesh. This double-layer forming fabric is widely used in the production of writing paper and coarse kraft paper machines, with a mesh size range from 60/cm to 32/cm, flexibly adapting to different production needs.

1.5 layer forming fabric is renowned for its excellent dewatering performance and plays an important role in the production process of writing paper, printing paper, and kraft paper.


Structural Design of Single Layer Forming Fabric

Single layer forming fabric is the most fundamental design in forming fabric. It includes four different forms:

(1) 2 Heddle(one top and one bottom): This design is mainly suitable for sewage treatment plants and sludge dewatering machines.

(2) 3 Heddle(one top and two bottom) :This design is commonly used in sludge dewatering machines, pulp washing machines, and bleaching machines.

(3) 4 Heddle (one top and three bottom): This design is widely used in various paper machines.

(4) 5 Heddle(one top and four bottom):This design   is mainly used for producing papermaking equipment that requires high dehydration, such as kraft paper, thin paper, writing paper, printing paper, etc.


Application areas: pulp making, sludge dewatering, straw pulp board production, black liquor extraction, pulp washing machine, bleaching machine, etc.
